Keeping the facility and grounds in top-notch condition and the level of service high is a priority for owners Billy Boyle and John Hill. The building has recently been remodeled and amenities have been added to provide families with even more comfort and convenience.
A 2,000 square foot addition includes two bright new lounges, one smoke-free and the other one allowing a comfortable indoor area for smokers. The rooms share a common kitchen area with ample space for storing food and serving snacks or meals. This lounge arrangement is the first of its kind in Owensboro.
The chapel and adjoining family room have been renovated, including the addition of stained glass windows in the chapel entrance and hallway, in memory of founder, James H. Davis Sr. Our music room now includes traditional organ music, piano, or recordings that are played through the chapel's new state-of-the-art Bose® sound system, providing crystal clear audio during services. You may also choose traditional organ music or recordings from a tape or compact disc.
James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is the only funeral home in the Owensboro area with an on-site crematory. We provide complete cremation options.
We also have a pre-planning center for making funeral arrangements ahead of time.
